Social Sciences Department “Dragon’s Den” Pitches
Dragon’s Den is a collaboration between the Augustana Entrepreneurship Club and the Social Sciences Department’s Management faculty. Over the 11-week fall semester there has been a course in progress for the first time at Augustana, the Entrepreneurship Class. In the course students groups were tasked with the development of a business plan and a pitch for potential investors. Eager to share their projects, these students will present their plans to a panel of judges consisting of various members of the community. This event is an opportunity for students to pitch their final projects to the community to gain real-world experience. This event is open to the Augustana community, including staff, students, and faculty, as well as the greater Camrose community. We encourage you to come out and support these bright students!
This even has been generously sponsored by the University of Alberta alumni & Friends Association and the Augustana Social Sciences Department.
