Our Lady of Mount Pleasant School
Villainous pirates, danger on the high seas, and buried treasure are just a few of the wondrous things to look forward to in Our Lady Mount Pleasant School’s production of “Treasure Island”. Based on the Robert Louis Stevenson novel of the same title, this interpretation of the swashbuckling adventure is narrated by fourteen year old Jim Hawkins and presents the search for Captain Flint’s treasure in an engaging, entertaining manner appropriate for all ages. The memorable characters, including one of the greatest anti-heroes of all time, Long John Silver are brought to life on the Lougheed stage for ONE-NIGHT-ONLY. Come out and enjoy an affordable evening of pirates, pistols, and parleys.
“For thirty years,” he said, “I’ve sailed the seas and seen good and bad, better and worse, fair weather and foul, provisions running out, knives going, and what not. Well, now I tell you, I never seen good come o’ goodness yet. Him as strikes first is my fancy; dead men don’t bite; them’s my views—amen, so be it.”
