The countdown begins, and seats are vanishing by the minute. As of this morning, exactly 10 tickets remain in the Cargill Theatre for an unforgettable evening of comedy with Canada’s favourite funny man, Brent Butt!
If you love pure, sharp, belly-laugh stand-up comedy, you need to act immediately. Brent Butt consistently fills halls from coast to coast, and his stop at the Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre stands on the verge of becoming another complete sell-out for our season. Once these final 10 seats disappear, the box office closes the doors on this one-night-only comedy event.
Fresh Laughs from a Canadian Comedy Legend
Brent Butt needs no introduction to Canadian audiences. As the visionary creator, writer, and star of the record-breaking television phenomenon Corner Gas, Brent cemented his place in the nation’s cultural fabric. He followed that massive triumph with four seasons of the hit television series Hiccups, the darkly comedic feature thriller No Clue, and best-selling fiction with his acclaimed psychological novel, Huge.
Yet despite his triumphs as a producer, novelist, and screen actor, Brent always returns to his first true love: live stand-up comedy.
For this exclusive performance in Camrose, Brent brings an hour of brand-new, razor-sharp material straight from the road. He delivers stories with his signature prairie wit, effortless timing, and charming self-deprecation. Brent avoids shock tactics and cruel punches, choosing instead to find sheer brilliance in everyday absurdities, relatable family eccentricities, and universal human truths. You will leave the theatre with sore cheeks, tired ribs, and a lighter spirit.
