About the Show

Step back in time to 1957 and relive the electrifying sounds of early rock ‘n’ roll! Musician and storyteller Stephen Olson uncovers the incredible true story of the concert by four future Hall of Famers – Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Wanda Jackson – that shook his hometown of Camrose. Using classic guitars, historic photos, and masterful storytelling, Olson brings to life this “rockabilly roadtrip” from Memphis to small-town Alberta. Don’t miss this one-man rockabilly spectacle where music, history, and nostalgia collide!

About Stephen Olson

Stephen Olson is a classically trained guitarist who learned to play Chet Atkins thumb-picking from his Uncle Lyndy. By playing bass and melody lines simultaneously, Stephen can authentically replicate the country and rockabilly sounds of the 1950’s. Stephen draws audiences in with his electric performances and stories from this golden era of music.
